Transparency and brightness

The new Chur station is the celebration, from a technological point of view, of the growing importance of transports and of their structures in the urban context.

The curved roof of the station is inspired by the mountains surrounding Chur, which is in contrast with the flat-roof buildings flanking it: at night time, the inner illumination turns the dome into a lighthouse.
