The University needed to double the area of its library and to give a centre to the campus, reducing the inconveniences for the working in progress to a minimum.
This has been possible by placing on the existing building a light structure made up of steel frames.
The inside of the building is smartly characterized by steel columns with cross-shaped section and by tapered beams.
Wide glass walls allow the exploitation of the sunlight.
